Groups &
MINISTRIES
A life of faith is lived out in community and, at Knox, this shared life is central to our joy. Below, you will see some of the ministries and activities that we share in. If you would like to be a part of these activities, get in touch!
Kids & Youth Ministry
Children and youth are a celebrated group among our church family. Throughout the year, we provide many opportunities for them to actively share in our worship, learning, and congregational life.
Our Sunday school meets each Sunday. Children enter church with their families, participate in worship, and then leave the sanctuary for their groups in the KidZone. A nursery is also available for pre-school infants.

Knox has a thriving high-school Youth Ministry that meets regularly for spiritual and social interaction and learning. The young people are involved in worship leadership from time to time.
Marriage Celebrations
Are you planning to be married? Congratulations! Marriage is a wonderful gift that God gives us. If you would like to be married at Knox Church, please contact our minister, Rev. Ken MacQuarrie and he will share with you our policies and practices for weddings.
Out of the Cold
Since 1996 churches in St. Catharines have been feeding the hungry and sheltering those who are homeless throughout the winter months. Knox organizes and hosts the Friday evening gatherings. We are thankful for the individuals and organizations who volunteer and donate as well as our partner churches, Start Me Up Niagara and the Niagara region. A summer bbq complements these efforts.
KPW & "C" Circle
Knox Presbyterian Women (KPW) are an active women's group who meet for fun and fellowship as well as to help with important congregational events. The KPW adopts a family each Christmas and supports other good works with funds raised through bazaars, games nights and attic treasure sales.

"C" Circle is a social group of the KPW which meets about eight times a year and arranges outings and events with guest speakers, and contributes to the annual bazaar.
Men's Fellowship & Support
Throughout the year, men of all ages are invited to get together for events including regular breakfast gatherings.
Simon's Companions is a group specifically for men who have lost their partners.
S.O.S.
The S.O.S Team delivers prepared meals or soup throughout the year to members recovering from illness or loss.
Choir
New voices are always welcome in our enthusiastic and talented choir led by Ken Hutton. The choir leads in worship every Sunday and plays a big role in several major concerts as well as an annual fund-raiser for the Out of the Cold Program.
